TRI-VALLEY TO MOVE ADMINISTRATION OFFICES TO FOURNET BUILDING APRIL 4

fournet-032823-media-e1680211321210649215

Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc. plans to move its Administrative Office (AO) to the Fournet Building in Crookston on Tuesday, April 4. Tri-Valley AO is currently at 102 North Broadway. As of April 4, the new address of Tri-Valley AO will be 107 North Broadway, Suite 200. Tri-Valley will occupy the second floor of the Fournet Building, which will be accessible by stairs or by elevator.

Tri-Valley’s AO has been located at 102 N. Broadway (directly across from the Fournet Building) in Crookston for over 30 years. Prior to that, there were two offices on Main Street that were consolidated into one with the move to 102 North Broadway.

“This move has been a long time coming. We started this process with an evaluation of deferred maintenance, accessibility, and comfort issues at 102 North Broadway. Once the board determined that the cost and associated interim move required to deal with identified issues was not in the best interest of Tri-Valley, the board evaluated several options that included existing space in and out of Crookston along with building a new space on land owned by Tri-Valley,” says Tri-Valley CEO, Jason Carlson. “Ultimately, the board decided to become the first group to make a commitment to the Fournet project, paving the way for the preservation and rehabilitation of a building that is very important to the historic downtown district. While the project took longer than anticipated, we are still happy to have been a part of the project and are now more than ready to commence full operations out of the space.”

Office phone numbers will all stay the same, individuals are asked to call 800-584-7020 or email trivalleymail@tvoc.org with any questions on how to find the new office location.

MN DNR OFFERING NEW PAYMENT OPTIONS AT STATE PARKS, RECREATION AREAS, AND FOREST CAMPGROUNDS

oxwv1vw_400x400156941

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is modernizing payment options in state parks, recreation areas, and forest campgrounds by discontinuing the use of on-site self-payment collection boxes and expanding electronic payment options. This includes deploying an app for mobile devices called Yodel.

Yodel is currently available for some transactions in state parks, recreation areas and forest campgrounds. For information about Yodel, and a guide to the full suite of payment options available, visit the Parks and Trails payment options page (mndnr.gov/state_parks/payment-options.html). Products available to purchase via Yodel will expand throughout the summer camping season. Yodel is an addition to current payment options, which include in-person transactions at park offices and the online reservation system (mndnr.gov/reservations).

The DNR is modernizing payment systems to reduce the risk of theft of payment envelopes collected on-site, improve data security, and improve the safety of visitors and DNR staff.

Campsites in state forest campgrounds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Campgrounds in state forests do not have staffed offices. Visitors should follow instructions on signs in campgrounds to pay camping fees via Yodel, or by mailing in the fees if payment via Yodel is not possible. As always, vehicle permits are not required for visitors to state forest campgrounds.

For more information, visit the DNR’s Parks and Trails payment options page (mndnr.gov/state_parks/payment-options.html) or contact the DNR Information Center by emailing info.dnr@state.mn.us or by calling 888-646-6367 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
