CHOICE THERAPY INTRODUCES THEIR NEWEST TEAM MEMBER DR. HAYLEY SOLHEIM

Choice Therapy in Crookston would like to introduce its newest team member, Dr. Hayley Solheim.

Solheim, a Crookston native, graduated from Crookston High School in 2012. During her time in Crookston, she participated in Volleyball, Basketball, and Track and Field. She then attended Gustavus Adolphus College, where she received her undergraduate degree, before attending Northwest Health and Sciences University, where she received her doctorate in Chiropractic studies with a sports emphasis. Solheim has also received her Acupuncture Certification.

Coming back home was on Solheim’s agenda for more than a year. A driving factor for returning to Crookston was being close to family and friends and working with familiar faces.

“It’s probably been ten years since I’ve been back in the area, I was feeling like it was time to come back,” said Solheim, “I was in Sartell the last two years at a family wellness clinic. I kind of got nostalgic for the area and wanted to be closer to friends and family. I started thinking about coming back last spring. I was contacted in June, and it was perfect timing.”

Solheim found Choice Therapy a great fit because the office offers physical therapy and chiropractic appointments. Solheim’s job title focuses mainly on chiropractic services and pediatrics for pregnant women.

“I’m excited to be able to work with the people that I’m working with and also to bring another perspective into the area,” said Solheim, “It’s been fun to see old faces, especially people I haven’t seen in over ten years. It’s been fun to reconnect with people.”

Solheim referred to herself as the “resident nerd” in the clinic when talking about her hobbies and what she likes to do in her free time. Hayley enjoys watching movies, specifically films in the Sci-fi, fantasy, and comic genres. She also enjoys staying inside and reading books during the winter. During the Summer, she enjoys going to the lake, spending time with friends, and having game nights.
