On Monday, April 7 at approx. 10:07 a.m., there was an officer-involved shooting following a vehicle pursuit on Polk County Road 9 (K.T. Road) west of the intersection of 350th Avenue SW. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle involved in the pursuit was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with a non-life-threatening injury.
The Minnesota BCA was contacted and is responding to the scene.
There is no risk to the public. County Road 9 from 35 Ave SW and 360th Ave SW is closed until the BCA has completed their scene investigation. Avoid this area as it will be closed for most of the day.

Other agencies involved are the Crookston Police Department, the US Border Patrol, the Minnesota State Patrol, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, and the Crookston Area Ambulance.
