The National Weather Service is warning people of dense smoke moving through the region today. A cold front pushing through the region is bringing a narrow area of dense smoke from wildfires in Canada into our area, severely degrading air quality.
This severely degraded air quality is forecast at any one location for a relatively brief period (2-5 hour window) this morning into early afternoon.
Consider altering outdoor plans during the period of thickest smoke.
