Garden Party and sweet corn giveaway to be held at the park by the Crookston Fire Hall

Crookston Mayor Dale Stainbrook made a mayoral proclamation at Monday’s City Council meeting that Thursday, August 21, is Wildflower Garden Caregivers Appreciation Day.
It will be celebrated tonight (Thursday, August 21) at the Wildflower Garden at South Main Street and Old Highway 75 South, right by the Crookston Fire Hall.
The Garden Party will run from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. with refreshments and music. Thanks to the Downtown Crookston Development Partnership and Levi’s Fresh and Local, sweet corn will be given away starting at 5:00 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Everyone is invited to see the beautiful park and help celebrate those who manage and care for the flowers in the park.
