On October 2nd, 2025, at approximately 3:35 pm, the Crookston Police Department responded to the intersection of East Robert St. and Bridge St. for a report of a vehicle/pedestrian accident.
A juvenile male, age 10, of Crookston, was riding his bike eastbound in the crosswalk at the intersection of East Robert St. and Bridge St. The juvenile male was transported to RiverView ER. The extent of the juvenile male’s injuries is not known at this time.
Kyrie Schehr, age 20, of Crookston, was driving a 2020 Ford Explorer southbound on Bridge St. when she collided with the juvenile male.
This is an active investigation, and no additional information is being released at this time.
The Crookston Police Department was assisted by the Crookston Area Ambulance, Crookston Fire Department, Polk County Sheriff’s Office, and the MN State Patrol.
