Crookston City Council and Ways and Means to meet Monday (11-17-25)

The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday, November 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers.

The first item on the agenda is a presentation regarding a Crookston promotional video provided by Jeff Evers.

The consent agenda includes the approval of the City Council meeting minutes from November 3, a resolution to approve bills and disbursements of $437,950.63, correction of the execution period for the Minnesota Department of Transportation Airport maintenance and operation grant contract, the approval of the final payment for TIF 3-7 in the amount of $28,145. The consent agenda also includes the non-waiver of the statutory limits of liability established by the Minnesota State statute section 466.04, and payment number two to Gustafson and Goudge Inc for the 2025 Hangar construction at the Crookston Municipal Airport.

There will be a public hearing regarding the 2025 assessment for the City of Crookston.

The regular agenda includes the approval of fees for cannabis applications within the City of Crookston, approval of a marketing agreement with Anchor Marketing, and approval of the 2026 grants for non-profits.

The Crookston Ways and Means Committee will meet immediately after the city council meeting in the City Hall council chambers to discuss the zoning ordinance that would allow slaughterhouses and the Empower Small Minnesota Communities and Comprehensive Plan Draft presentation.
