Linda D. Aanenson, age 70, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on September 12, 1955, to Harvey and Lorraine (Bennen) Hegg in Crookston, MN.
Linda was baptized and confirmed at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fertile, Minnesota. She graduated from Fertile-Beltrami High School in 1973. Linda was united in marriage to Stanley Aanenson on June 28, 1974. They welcomed a son, Jamie, and a daughter, Tami.
Linda enjoyed watching many sports, especially when her grandchildren played. She was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan and went to multiple games with family. She often helped her granddaughter Jacelyn during softball and would be a first/third base coach during her games.
Linda’s giving heart, endless love and unforgettable laugh will live on in the hearts of all that knew her.
Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Stanley; daughter, Tami Pinske (Kevin Olson), Fertile, MN; grandchildren, Nolan Pinske, Jacelyn Pinske, Jacob Pinske-Olson, Tanner (Abby) Olson, Carter Olson, Kadyn Olson, and Chloe Olson, all residing nearby Fertile, MN; great-grandson, Miles Olson; siblings, Wayne (Cheryl) Hegg, Fertile, MN, and Todd Ranz, Fertile, MN; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other people, with whom she had a special bond, and she considered family.
She is preceded in death by her infant son, Jamie; father, Harvey Hegg; mother, Lorraine Brunsberg; stepfathers, George Ranz and Donald Brunsberg; siblings, Gerald Hegg, Eugene Hegg, Jeff Hegg, and Cheryl Senn; and brother-in-law, Charles Senn.
Linda’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, November 24, 2025 at Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home, Fertile, MN, with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 PM.
Inurnment: Faaberg Lutheran Cemetery, Rindal, MN. (At a later date)
