The Crookston City Council will have a Truth in Taxation hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Monday in the City Hall Council Chambers. After the hearing, the Crookston City Council meeting will begin.
The City Council consent agenda includes approval of the meeting minutes from November 17, bills and disbursements for $807,282.71, and council support of a community event featuring members of the Shriners International parade. The council will also be asked to approve the 2026-2028 airport manager agreement between the City and Miller Aircraft Services, the airport manager agreement between the City of Crookston and Lowell Miller for 2026-2028, and approve amendment No. 1 to the non-commercial hangar lot lease at the airport.
The regular agenda includes approval of the Minnesota paid leave policy, the second and final reading of an ordinance amending the City of Crookston zoning ordinance, allowing a slaughterhouse in the heavy industrial zone. The final item on the agenda is regarding closing City offices at noon on Christmas Eve (December 24).
