The Crookston Pirate Girls Hockey team not only is hosting one of the top teams in the state with the Bemidji Lumberjacks coming to town, but they are also hosting one of the top players in the nation as Bailey Rupp (daughter of Stephanie (Boll) Rupp) who will be representing the United States as she plays in the U18 Women’s World Championship (the female World Juniors) January 10-18 in Sydney and Membertou, Nova Scotia.
Crookston is 4-7 on the year after an overtime win over Detroit Lakes. Bemidji is ranked #6 in Class AA and is 7-1 after a 4-2 loss to #1-ranked Holy Family.
