The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team finished ninth out of 10 teams at the Minnewaska Laker Invitational on Friday. Thief River Falls won the invite with 241 points, 34 points better than Little Falls.
Crookston was led by Mauricio Arriaga and Gavyn Hlucny with second place finishes.

GIRLS WRESTLING RESULTS –
The Crookston Pirate Girls Wrestler Emma Pierson competed in the Bemidji Rick Lee tournament on Friday.
Pierson beat Sophia Betz-Hilliar of Larimore by pin at 3:37. In the semi-finals she lost to Violet Hehn of Lisbon by pin at 1:56. In the third place match, Emma lost by forfeit to Favour Kulu of Sartell-Saint Stephen and finished fourth place.
