The Crookston 5th grade girl’s basketball team won the Consolation Championship at the Green Wave Sports Booster Border Battle tournament this weekend. Warroad beat Crookston 25-12 in the first round. The girls bounced back to beat Cavalier 30-18 in the consolation semi-finals and beat Warren-Alvarado-Oslo 30-24 in the consolation championship.
The team members are Marie Prudhomme, Kiera Gudmundson, Isabelle Beckman, Emma Newquist, Annie Kollin, Kamilla Morales, Monroe Shockman, Zaelyn Normandin, and Kaitlynn Klawitter.
