Crookston High School’s Meliyah Moore competed in the State Class A Speech competition at Shakopee High School on Friday, April 25.
Moore, who competed in extemporaneous reading, made it into the top eight in the prelims to move on to the final round.
In the finals, Moored finished in sixth place!
“It was a wonderful speech season, and I want to thank Meliyah and the whole team for their hard work,” said Pirate Speech Coach Brandon Lee. I wish Meliyah the best in her future endeavors after graduation.“
