The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the arrest of the following –

Skyler Jo Kern, 33 of Grand Forks, for second-degree DUI with two or more aggravating factors

Vaughn Michael Scott, 45 of Emerado, for first-degree burglary

Abraham Clifford Wilson, 59 of Barnesville, for receiving stolen property

Shawn David Lafriniere, 27 of Mahnomen, for DUI, alcohol concentration of .08 within two hours

Antonio Dashon Atkins, 30 of Crookston, for DUI, alcohol concentration of .08 within two hours

Kristian Danielle Ternes, 29 of Crookston, for misdemeanor domestic assault

Thomas Amiot, 82 of Crookston, for criminal sexual conduct, first-degree contact with a person under 13, and accomplice armed with a dangerous weapon

Laurissa Lynn Lawrence, 31 of Crookston, for misdemeanor domestic assault

Fire Report

On Saturday, April 4th, at 10:41 a.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to a call from Gently Township for a vehicle vs snowplow.

On Saturday, April 4th, at 11:48 a.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to a call from Elm and East 5th Street for a downed power cable.

On Saturday, April 4th, at 12:03 a.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to a call about burning branches on a power line. On scene, they found the burned branches on the ground beneath the line.

On Saturday, April 4th, at 1:24 p.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to a call from downed cable lines on Albert and 4th

On Saturday, April 4th, at 8:34 p.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to a call from the 300th block of 7th Avenue for a call about a grill on fire. On scene, the homeowner had it put out; the only casualty was the dinner.

On Sunday, April 5th, at 10:35 a.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to a call from the 1100 block of Barrett Street regarding water in the ceiling. On scene, there was a significant leak and a plumber on scene. They turned it over to the building’s maintenance and cleared the scene.
