The Crookston Pirate Girls Golf team shot a 374 to finish eighth place out of 15 teams at the Bemidji Lumberjack Girls Golf Invitational at the Town and Country Club north of Bemidji. Minnewaska Area won the meet with a 342, five strokes better than Bemidji. The medalist was Minnewaska Area’s Ava Kollman with a 78.
CROOKSTON –
Ava Martin, a senior, shot a 90 and finished in 20th place. She carded one birdie, four pars, eight bogies, four doubles, and one triple bogey
Halle Nicholas, a senior, shot a 91 to finish 27th. She recorded one birdie, five pars, eight bogies, one double bogey, one triple, and one quadruple bogey.
Makenna Peterson, a freshman, shot a 93 to finish 34th. She made one par, 13 bogies, and four double bogies.
Emelia Hoerner, a senior, shot a 100 to finish 56th. She had one par, nine bogies, six double bogies, one triple and one quadruple bogey..
Taylor Wieland, a senior, shot a 107 and finished 72nd. She carded three bogies, 13 double bogies, and two triple bogies.
Elsie Mathews, an eighth grader, shot a 110 for 79th place. She recorded two pars, three bogies, six double bogies, five triple bogies, and two quadruple bogies.
Crookston will travel to Roseau for a Conference meet on Monday.
