The Sheriff’s Office received a report of the collapse at approximately 2:40 p.m., and McIntosh Fire Department members, along with other first responders, were dispatched to the school at 140 2nd St SE in McIntosh. Ongoing work is underway to secure the area at this time.

The sheriff’s office warns that this area and the building remain highly unsafe and will be barricaded, making them inaccessible to the public at this time.
