Crookston City Council, Ways and Means Committee to meet Monday, May 18

The Crookston City Council will meet Monday, May 18, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers.

The consent agenda includes approval of the meeting minutes from the May 4th meeting, approval of bills and disbursements totaling $321,715.05, a resolution regarding a special event permit request for the upcoming Night to Unite event, and a resolution accepting a donation from the Crookston Baseball Association.

The regular agenda has four items: the approval of a cannabis lower-potency hemp edible retailer license for MPT Enterprises, doing business as Best Buy Liquors in Crookston, the approval of a one-year Cash Farm Lease Agreement with BTB Farms, the approval of the Crookston Community Pool Mural Project, and the authorization of emergency sewer main repair on North Front Street.

Immediately following the City Council meeting, the Ways and Means Committee will hold a meeting at the City Hall Council Chambers. Their open agenda includes discussions on the City of Crookston Comprehensive Plan, Active Transportation Demonstration Project, Industrial Park Business Development Public Infrastructure (BDPI), and Tri-Valley.
