The Crookston Pirate Boys Golf team finished sixth place out of eight teams at the Thief River Falls Invitational on Friday at the Thief River Golf Club in Thief River Falls.
Crookston shot a 363, while Warroad won the meet with a 320, two strokes better than Roseau. Crookston was led by Evan Shockman with an 84. The medalist was Ryan Hass of Roseau with a one-under par 71.
Evan Shockman, a senior, shot an 84 for 13th place. Evan had a two birdies, five pars, nine bogies, one double bogey, and one triple bogey.
Garrett Fisher, a senior, shot an 87 to finish in 24th place. Garrett carded two birdies, six pars, four bogies, five double bogies, and one triple bogey.
Kelby Fee, a seventh grader, shot an 91 and finished in 31st place. Kelby recorded one birdie, four pars, eight bogies, four double bogies, and one quadruple bogey.
David Dauksavage, a senior, shot a 96 and finished 38th place. David had one birdie, one par, eight bogies, seven double bogies, and one triple bogey.
Harrison Cameron, an eighth grader, shot a 101 to finish 43rd place. Harrison carded one par, six bogies, 10 double bogies, amd one triple bogey.
Colin Trudeau, a sophomore, shot a 107 and finished 48th place. Colin had one par, seven bogies, four double bogies, five triple bogies, and one five-over-par hole.
Tony Elbinger, a senior, shot a 114 to finish 51st place. Tony had four bogies, eight double bogies, three triple bogies, two quadruple bogies, and one five over par hole.
